John Eason, President/CEO
After graduating from Bible College in 1986, Pastor John spent two years serving in churches throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area. At just 23 years old and newly called by God, he moved to Bastrop with the sole purpose of planting a church. In March of 1988, as a single young man with a big vision, he held his very first Sunday service in Bastrop.
Though he originally believed his time in Bastrop would be short, God had other plans. Now, over 33 years later, Pastor John continues to faithfully lead Celebration Community Church with the same passion and purpose he began with.
He is blessed with a beautiful wife, Vicky, and five wonderful children. His heart’s deepest desire is for people to experience a genuine, personal, life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ.
Ronald Wilson - Vice President
Ronald’s passion for ministry began at the age of 14, when he first served as a youth leader at LovingWord Fellowship in Houston, Texas. In 2021, he and his wife Lauryn felt a clear calling from God to move to Bastrop and serve the local community. Since then, Ronald has been actively involved in several nonprofit organizations in the Bastrop area, including Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Community Thrive, Celebration Community Church, and the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce.
With a deep heart for people, Ronald is passionate about building meaningful relationships, empowering the next generation, and meeting the practical and spiritual needs of those around him. His commitment to seeing Bastrop thrive—spiritually, socially, and economically—drives everything he does.
He and Lauryn are the proud parents of three wonderful daughters
